Trying to implement the best and latest technology into your classroom can be extremely difficult to do, especially with the amount of barriers existing today. Out of the seven well known barriers, the three that impact the incorporation the most include:
1. Professional training in technology: Teachers and other educators are lacking the knowledge and skills associated with new technology. Training is not provided enough in this area of education.
2. Money: Schools are not being funded enough for new technology. Families of students may be going through financial issues, which provides that child with a disadvantage over the rest of his or her peers.
3. Lack of standards: Educator are not gaining the standards they need in order to implement technology into thier classrooms.

How do you overcome these barriers?
Funding is always helpful when it comes to issues concerning money. Fundraisers can be put on to benefit buying new technology tools to put inside classorooms. When it comes to training, educators could either petition to the board of education to infuse more technology training or attend trainings on their own time for in-service training hours.
